Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission of Pilgrims' Peace Center is to promote peace by spreading the Gospel of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, and the messages of the Blessed Mother, given at Medjugorje; to provide prayerful, material and medical assistance to the people of Medjugorje, to those in the surrounding region and to others, as needs indicate, by means of personal, hand-to-hand delivery of items such as food and medical supplies and by bringing individuals to the United States for medical care; to facilitate the religious retreat pilgrimages of Pilgrimage Tours, Inc. for the spiritual enrich of all participants; and, in all ways, to give honor and glory to God. The Directors and Operators of Pilgrims' Peace Center are practicing Roman Catholics and, as such, their intent is that the activities of this organization be in accord with the teachings of the Holy Father and the Roman Catholic Church.
Funds to Holy Family Center in Mostar, Bosnia Herzegovina. Initially, the funds were to be used for new hospital beds. When the funds were given to the administrator, Sr. Rudolfa, she asked if they could be used for more pressing needs. They needed a new commercial dishwasher. The rest of the money was needed to repair crumbling concrete and rusting steel on the overhangs at the entranceways. The grant was for 10,000 euros in 2018. In 2019, we were able to send an additional $15,300 USD which was used to purchase 10 hospital beds.
Summerhill College Sligo, Ireland Donation
Rainbow Project: This project brings a family with a terminally ill child from Ireland to Florida every year. The first week is spent on Clearwater Beach. The second week is spent at Give Kids the World in Orlando Florida. Tyrone Ritchie was this year's recipient. He suffers from type II diabetes.
