THE JCC PROVIDES THE CHILDREN OF THE SOUTH BROWARD COMMUNITY WITH A UNIQUE JEWISH SUMMER CAMP EXPERIENCE. CAMP KADIMA ENABLES CHILDREN AGES 2-14 TO BUILD SELF-CONFIDENCE AND SOCIALIZATION SKILLS WITHIN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT. 1,014 BOYS AND GIRLS WERE SERVED FOR 39 DAYS. THESE CAMPS, WITH THEIR INDIVIDUALIZED MISSION STATEMENTS, ARE AS FOLLOWS:1. CAMP K'TON TON - FOR BOYS AND GIRLS OF AGES 2-4: CHILDREN WILL EXPERIENCE A SUMMER FILLED WITH FUN, FRIENDSHIP AND JEWISH TRADITION IN A SAFE AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT. BY PARTICIPATING IN DEVELOPMENTALLY, AGE-APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES, THE CHILD WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE AND INTERACT WHILE BUILDING A SENSE OF CONFIDENCE, COMPETENCE AND SELF-ESTEEM. ALL ACTIVITIES FOR THIS AGE GROUP ARE HELD ON-SITE ON THE JCC CAMPUS. CAMP K'TON TON OFFERS AN EIGHT-WEEK, HALF DAY OPTION FOR AGES 2, 3, AND 4. THE JCC'S DYNAMIC, STANDARDIZED SWIM PROGRAM, CREATED FOR THE PRESCHOOLER, PROMOTES WATER SAFETY AND SWIMMING READINESS SKILLS, AS WELL AS FUN AND ENJOYMENT IN THE WATER. THE SWIMMING PROGRAM IS CONDUCTED ON THE JCC'S ON-SITE POOLS.2. CAMP OLIM - FOR BOYS AND GIRLS ENTERING KINDERGARTEN: CHILDREN IN CAMP OLIM WILL ENJOY A SUMMER FILLED WITH ACTIVITIES, KEEPING THESE YOUNG CAMPERS ENTERTAINED, ENTHUSIASTIC, CREATIVE AND ENERGIZED ALL SUMMER LONG. THIS PROGRAM IS AN EXCITING TRANSITION THAT KEEPS THE WARMTH AND SECURITY OF THE PRESCHOOL EXPERIENCE, WHILE PROVIDING NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE EXPANDING ABILITIES OF THE 5 YEAR OLD CHILD. MOST ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING SWIMMING IN OUR ON-SITE POOLS, ARE HELD ON THE JCC CAMPUS. CHILDREN ALSO ENJOY FIELD TRIPS ON AIR-CONDITIONED BUSES TO LOCAL ATTRACTIONS. 3.
