Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Girl Choir of South Florida's mission is to transform girls' lives through musical excellence. We currently have four choir ensembles with roughly 90 members. Our primary service is providing a quality music education program to girls ages 6 to 18 in the South Florida area that includes training on sight-reading, music theory, and vocal production skills, as well as performance opportunities in South Florida and on state, national, and international tours. Through this education, our program aims to develop singers' music literacy and artistic creativity while also instilling broader values like teamwork, community, empathy, and confidence. We provide a supportive environment where girls pursue excellence in music while developing a greater understanding of themselves, each other, and the world around them. We don't just want our members to become better singers - we believe that participation in our programs helps our singers become better people.

PROVIDE A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH GIRLS PURSUE EXCELLENCE IN ATRISTIC PERFORMANCE AND MUSICAL LITERACY SKILLS WHILE DEVELOPING A GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF THEMSELVES AND THE WORLD AROUND THEM THROUGH THE SINGING OF A CHALLENGING, HIGH QUALITY, DIVERSE REPITOIRE. MORE THAN 120 GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN AGES SIX THROUGH EIGHTEEN BENEFITTED WHILE PARTICIPATING THROUGHOUT TWENTY ONE CITIES IN SOUTH FLORIDA.
