Organizations Filed Purposes:
Our mission is to identify and foster future artists by maximizing donations, grants, and in-kind professional talent to produce and present programs that embrace tradition, maintain excellence and create opportunities for innovation in arts and related fields of sciences and humanities.
We were fortunate to have in-kind time donations from several contributors: For Program A, 'Shakespeare's La Florida' series, The Shakespeare Troupe of South Florida Director and fifteen artists donated in-kind contributions of $20,000. For Program B COAT/Artworks, 'urban shade structure competition,' a panel of seven design professionals donated in-kind services to review the competition entries waiving honorariums of $10,000. In addition, for the competition, five individual architectural firms made submissions at no cost to Grace Arts totaling a value of $5,000. For Program B 'Street Art Festival,' five street artists donated $10,000 in-kind value of their time for street murals leading towards the development of a festival. For program C, 'Outsider Art exhibition' a 'mobile art pavilion' studio resulted in seven Florida International University (FIU) student architecture groups and four professors providing $10,000 in-kind design review services, model production in the robotic fab
Shakespeare's La Florida Theater Series: Shakespeare and other classical literature and theater adaptations and development of a public festival project with live performances and master classes with professional dancers at public schools.
COAT/Artworks - (Community of Artists Transform) and ARTWORKS: community revitalization programs through the arts and design includes murals, urban shade and other architecture and planning competitions in cities causing neighborhood improvements, including Advanced Placement arts programs for public schools.
Outsider and Self taught Artist Exhibits: studios, art fairs and activities done for the creation of new platforms for artists of excellence making art outside the conventional marketplace to be appreciated by the the art world and public; a focus on Florida culture and history is core with opportunities for academic participation to contrast and explore the unique perspectives of Florida diversity and culture found in Outsider art and vernacular design.
