Organizations Filed Purposes:
Voices for Children of Broward Countys mission is to ensure that every abused, neglected and abandoned child in Broward County has a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem and that financial resources are available for each childs accompanying health, educational, and social needs.
Voices focuses exclusively on providing gap funding and programs solely for children who have an open and active dependency case in Broward County. Over the past twelve months, Voices provided: Resources for Emergency, Life Essentials, and Normalcy needs to 611 children, 2,700 healthy and nutritious meals to children during school vacation breaks, 267 children enjoyed a day of worry-free fun through our Dream BIG Days, 92 children received a special curated birthday box, 925 children received toys during the holiday season, 1,025 children received backpacks filled with all the first day essentials, 300 children were provided with Thanksgiving Day feasts, and 300 community leaders were recruited and trained as volunteer Guardians ad Litem.
