St Francis Communitys mission is to provide a recovery and rehabilitative enviromnent for individuals suffering from chemical dependency and/or addictive related behaviour.
Recovery house for men and women with drug and/or alcohol addiction. Residents participate in a structured program patterned after the AA 12 Step program which includes mandatory group meetings. Residents are expected to find stable employment, and cook for themselves in the full kitchens provided in each living unit.
St Francis Community, Inc. operates as a residential sober house for men and women in early recovery from drug and/or alcohol additiction. This year we have housed over 60 men and women in our facility. Our residents were required to commit to a minimum of four months stay. During that time they participated in a structured program after the AA 12 Step program which included 7 mandatory group meetings per week with such topics as behavior modification and spiritual guidance. As part of the recovery process the residents cook for themselves in the full kitchens that are provided in each living unit. The rental and program fee for a level one is 145 per week and 135 per week for level 2. The majority of our residents are level 1.
