Organizations Filed Purposes: OUR MISSION IS TO ADVANCE CELLULAR AGRICULTURE, THE PRODUCTION OF REAL ANIMAL PRODUCTS FROM CELLS RATHER THAN ENTIRE ANIMALS.

Project CMF was originally unveiled at Google NYC, providing a glimpse into a future where meat is made by farming animal cells instead of animals. This visualization of a Slaughterhouse 2.0 was a collaboration between dozens of our CAS Industry Partners who helped us create a realistic depiction of what a meat production facility could look like in 20 years.

Multiple CAS Fellows fulfilled projects in the Social Science Division. The focuses of their CAS Fellowships varied, but they were all attempting to better grasp the state of social science related to cellular agriculture.

Founder of CAS sat down with Suzette Bishop at Google NY to discuss lab-grown meat, cellular agriculture, and Project CMF. The talk was titled A Vision for Meat Production in 2040.
