The mission of PaTRAM Institute is to foster the authentic and original splendor of Russian Orthodox choral music together with its astounding spiritual depth, in both the English and Slavonic languages.
"More Honorable Than the Cherubim" is a professionally recorded CD performed by the PaTRAM Institute Male Choir, a professional group of male singers from different countries including Russia, USA, Serbia, Canada and Australia and conducted by the renowned conductor, Maestro Vladimir Gorbik. This recording is a follow-up to the, as yet unreleased, prior CD recording called, "Blessed Art Thou among Women" recorded in 2018. It is anticipated that "More Honorable Than the Cherubim" will be no less a critically acclaimed work than PaTRAM's first two Grammy nominated CDs, "Teach Me Thy Statutes" and "The Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom". The purpose of all these CDs is to provide the global Orthodox community, specifically, and the global population, in general interested in this kind of music, high-quality works of art to be cherished and appreciated. These CDs raise the profile of PaTRAM globally and helps generate future donations to keep our mission going, as well as, our other educational endeavors.
PaTRAM Summer Singers' Academy: In support of PaTRAM's online training classes, done in a virtual classroom, we stage a hands-on Academy where the student can learn and improve skills with the best faculty all together in-person. Unlike the online classrooms, there is more interaction with the instructors and faculty. There are live, in-church singing of the music students are training to learn and utilize in their home parishes. It provides an environment where the student is immersed in the learning and training in singing sacred music.
"Blessed Art Thou Among Women" is a professionally recorded CD performed by a professional choir of experienced singers and conducted by renowned choral conductor, Dr. Peter Jermihov. This recording is a follow-up to PaTRAM's previous CD, which was a Grammy nominee and Kurt Sander's "Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom", also well-received and acclaimed by critics. The purpose of these CDs is to provide the Orthodox community, specifically, and the population in general, interested in this kind of music. These CDs raise the profile of PaTRAM and helps generate future donations to keep our mission going, as well as, our other educational endeavors.
