Our mission is to alleviate hunger, find shelter, clothes, council the homeless, poor, shut-in elderly and needy children and families in our community
We distributed nonperishable and frozen food to over 1,000 families each month during the tax year. This number actually translate into over 4,000 individuals on a monthly basis. The food was donated by USDA, Wal-mart, Winn-Dixie and Publix supermarkets, as well as Farm Share Food Banks. Food was also donated by a host of private donors. Food of Life also made food purchases as well to donate to our clients. We also distributed free clothing to 150 families.
