Rescue, rehabilitate, treat medical and social needs and find forever homes for abandoned, abused pets. Sanctuary for elder unadoptable pets.
Humane Society of Citrus County rescues and rehabilitates dogs, cats and horses and various other critters. We also maintain facilities for our rescues and those who are unadoptable. All dogs and cats are spay/neutered, are medically approved for adoption and have been socialized. They are adopted only to homes that have been scrutinized for appropriateness. In furtherance of our Mission, we allow "Friends of Citrus County Animal Rescue" to board their rescues at our facility.
