THE FLORIDA COASTAL SCHOOL OF LAW FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO FURTHERING THE OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS OF ALL BACKGROUNDS WHO SEEK A LEGAL EDUCATION AT FLORIDA COASTAL SCHOOL OF LAW TO ENTER THE LEGAL PROFESSION AND TO PURSUE THEIR PASSION FOR PUBLIC SERVICE AND THE HIGHEST IDEALS OF A NOBLE PROFESSION.
Dedicated to furthering the opportunities through scholarships for students of all backgrounds who seek a legal education at Florida Coastal School of Law.
Eleven students received grants during 2017.
Coastal Law Foundation supports FCSLs in-house legal clinics in which students, receiving guidance and supervision from a full-time faculty member who is a member of the Florida Bar, represent indigent clients who are referred from various local agencies. The Immigrant Rights Clinic in particular provides direct legal services to non-citizens, including preparation of asylum petitions, family unity applications and petitions, applications for naturalization, and applications for relief under the Violence Against Women Act and the Victim of Trafficking and Violent Crime Prevention Act.
