CONTRACEPTION PROGRAM: CLINICS - EXPENSES INCURRED IN THE OPERATION OF CLINICS. THE CLINICS PROVIDE FAMILY PLANNING MEDICAL SERVICES, BIRTH CONTROL, SURGICAL AND MEDICATION ABORTION SERVICES, OTHER WELL-WOMAN GYNECOLOGICAL SERVICES AND VASECTOMIES. ALSO PROVIDED ARE STI TESTING AND TREATMENT (INCLUDING HIV) AND MIDLIFE SERVICES. CLINICS ARE LOCATED IN JACKSONVILLE, TALLAHASSEE AND GAINESVILLE.
PUBLIC AFFAIRS: EXPENSES INCURRED THROUGH THE PUBLIC AFFAIRS PROGRAM IN COORDINATING PUBLIC ADVOCACY ACTIVITIES. THIS INCLUDES EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY ON REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS AND HEALTH, PROVIDING INFORMATION ON POLITICAL/LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITY (ON LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL LEVELS) PERTAINING TO REPRODUCTIVE ISSUES, AND MOBILIZING COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND ACTION.
EDUCATION AND COUNSELING PROGRAM: EXPENSES INCURRED THAT ARE RELATED TO THE ACTIVITIES OF THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, WHICH PROVIDES VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IN REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH. THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT ENCOURAGES RESPONSIBLE AND INFORMED DECISION MAKING IN MATTERS OF SEX AND SEXUALITY. THE ORGANIZATION BELIEVES THAT KNOWLEDGE EMPOWERS PEOPLE TO MAKE BETTER CHOICES. THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE, MEDICALLY ACCURATE, AND AGE APPROPRIATE SEX EDUCATION IN A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY SETTINGS SUCH AS SCHOOLS AND YOUTH SERVING ORGANIZATIONS.
