An EvangelicalChurch operated by Christian Missionaries in Costa Rica in order to advance the christian faith as well as to promote positive relations between cultures.
The ministry provides a strong focus on its children in the area. In order to assist the children, the organization provides school supplies and uniforms for over 200 children, a weekly meal and Bible study for a neighorhood where over 60 children attend each week. During the Christmas period, the organization deld several events for the children where it shared over 200 gifts and over 50 food baskets to the local families.
The ministry is experiencing growth in the Jaco congregation. In addition there is an increasing desire within the ministry to promote the evangelical values of the ministry and religious principles of the bible in other parts ofCentral and South America. In order to accommodate the growth in Jaco and outreach to other geographical areas, additional trained pastors and leaders are needed. The organization has a work study program and is in the process of builing a Christian school for kids as well as to train leaders and pastors.
The ministry has established a church in Jaco, Costa Rica. Presently, several church services are conducted weekly in addition to Bible studies, youth group meetings, and the youth River Ministry throughout the week. Currently, several hundred adults and youth are attending the church services during the week in addition to the River Ministy. The services are open to anyone desiring to attend and require no monetary obligations or fees. All services are designed to improve the lives of the congregation and to emphasize the importance of God in their lives. The congregation is growing and increased interest in being seen in the community.
