THE ACTIVITIES ARE CARRIED OUT BY A TEAM OF RESEARCHERS UNDER OVERSIGHT OF A PROGRAM DIRECTOR WHO REPORTS TO THE GENERAL MANAGER. ACTIVITIES STARTED IN OCTOBER 2016 AND A TYPICAL DESIGN CYCLE FOR AN IMAGER TAKES 3 YEARS. (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O)AS THE ORGANIZATION GROWS, MORE RESEARCHERS AND PROGRAM DIRECTORS WILL BE ADDED TO ACCOMODATE THE GROWTH.ALL ACTIVITIES ARE MANAGED FROM FLORIDA. MOST (90%) OF ACTIVITIES ARE CONDUCTED IN FLORIDA. THE REMAINING 10% OF ACTIVITIES ARE CONDUCTED IN IMEC'S SITE IN BELGIUM, BECAUSE THE CORPORATION HAS UNIQUE EQUIPMENT IN BELGIUM THAT THE US ENTITY CANNOT GET ACCESS TO.OUR SINGLE ACTIVITY IS RESEARCH OF IMAGER SYSTEMS WITH THE AMBITION TO ADVANCE STATE OF THE ART. WE PUBLISH AND PATENT OUR RESULTS. THE RESULTS ARE AVAILABLE TO COMPANIES ON REASONABLE AND NON-DISCRIMINATORY CONDITIONS. ALL OF IMEC'S TIME IS SPENT ON IMAGING SYSTEMS.THE FUNDING IN YEARS 1 AND 2 WERE PROVIDED BY BOTH THE UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA ("UCF") AND OSCEOLA COUNTY. OSCEOLA COUNTY ALSO FUNDED YEARS 3 AND 4. YEAR 5 WILL BE FUNDED BY OSCEOLA COUNTY AND WILL ALSO HAVE SOME FUNDING PROVIDED BY RESEARCH PARTNERSHIPS WITH INDUSTRY AND SOME FEDERAL GRANTS.
