Our mission at Path to College is to enrich the academic growth and increase the competitiveness of low-income, high-achieving students in college admissions. Our flagship program is a 3-year academic fellowship that provides comprehensive and holistic support to driven students.
In four years since its inception, Path to College has helped over 1000 students clarify and achieve their college admission goals. Graduates of the Academic Fellowship program have seen an average SAT increase of 250 points, they apply to colleges at 200% the national rate, and 75% of graduates have been accepted to top-tier universities with full ride scholarships. Through academic competitions, long term SAT prep, one-on-one mentoring, and opportunities for leadership and service, our students are developed quite literally into the exact candidates selective colleges look for. We go beyond just providing information, we catalyze their own self-agency in their academic pursuit. It is called a Fellowship because, at the heart of our ethos, what drives our work forward is the belief that positive relationships can truly change lives.
