RTS Missions Inc. is the sole supporter of Fondation (Foundation) RTS Missions Haiti, a Haitian non-profit organization. The Foundation is currently providing ministry services in the areas of Mirebalais, Lascahobas and Belladere, Haiti. At this time, the Foundation currently has seven churches, five schools, and thousands of kids it is serving. Through funding and other resources provided by RTS Missions Inc., Fondation RTS Missions Haiti is currently providing the following ministry services: - Missionary and internship opportunities: RTS Missions Inc. partners with US churches and individuals to facilitate short-term mission trips and long term internship programs. These missionary and internship programs bring needed services to Haiti, such as medical services, construction services, teachers, pastoral leadership and discipleship training, and vocational training in areas such as agriculture, mechanics, sewing, and woodwork. - RTS Academy: Fondation RTS Missions Haiti operates numerous schools with funding received from RTS Missions Inc. RTS is working to combat the horrific educational statistics in Haiti. For example, 50% of primary school age children are not enrolled in school, one-third of girls over age six never go to school, approximately 30% of children attending primary school will not make it to 3rd grade and 60% will abandon school before 6th grade. RTS Academies provide academic and spiritual teachings to approximately 400 children in K - 7th grade. Additional schools will be opened as funding allows. - One Three Church Network: RTS Missions and Fondation RTS Missions Haiti oversee an ever expanding, increasingly diverse group of coordinating churches. The network exists to connect, support and start churches passionate about changing Haiti and reaching, teaching and sending individuals to engage their country for Christ. Every church will: 1) Be extremely active in outreach in their perspective zones 2) Be home to an RTS Academy educating the children in their zones 3) Operate a Ti Moun Li Yo (His Kids Youth Program) discipling children every Saturday 4) Send their members on mission trips throughout the country and 5) Plant new churches. - Living Water: RTS Missions provides water filters as a practical, and potentially life-saving, resource to the Haitian communities they serve. Water related illnesses are the leading cause of human sickness and death worldwide. Lack of access to safe drinking water keeps families sick and unhealthy - and prevents children from attending school. Without clean drinking water, there is no possible way for poor families to break out of the cycle of poverty.
