BLACK TECH WEEK (BTW) - BTW AIMS TO DRIVE GREATER DIVERSITY IN MIAMI'S STARTUP COMMUNITY BY SERVING AS A PLATFORM FOR MINORITY-OWNED, HIGH GROWTH STARTUPS TO CONNECT WITH VENTURE CAPITALISTS, OTHER ENTREPRENEURS, AND ESTABLISHED TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES. THROUGH BTW, THE ORGANIZATION HAS CONNECTED MORE THAN 2,500 MINORITY ENTREPRENEURS FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY, SELECTING 200 OF THE HIGHEST POTENTIAL ENTREPRENEURS TO PARTICIPATE IN BTW EVENTS AND PROGRAMMING IN MIAMI. ALL OF THESE ENTREPRENEURS HAVE HAD THE OPPORUTNITY TO CONNECT WITH MORE THAN 200 VIPS, INCLUDING THOUGHT LEADERS, INFLUENCERS, AND INVESTORS FROM ACROSS MULTIPLE INDUSTRY SECTORS. APPROXIMATELY 20 VOLUNTEERS GAVE COUNTLESS HOURS TO THIS PROGRAM.
CAMP PROGRAMS - THE COMPANY CONDUCTS CAMPS, WORKSHOPS, HACK-A-THONS, AND TECH SYMPOSIUMS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF FLORIDA TO INTRODUCE YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS, WITH A PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON RESIDENTS FROM LOW-INCOME/LOW OPPORTUNITY COMMUNITIES, ON HOW TO TRANSITION FROM BEING JUST CONSUMERS OF TECHNOLOGY TO INNOVATORS OF TECHNOLOGY. OVER THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS, THE ORGANIZATION HAS TRAINED OVER 2000 YOUTHS IN WEB DEVELOPMENT AND APP DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE ENTIRE BROWARD LIBRARY SYSTEM, AND WITHIN
