Community Outreach Programs: Ghetto Youths Foundation conducts ongoing community outreach programming throughout the year, serving communities in need with specific focus on aid in areas of health and wellness; education and academic support; community building and opportunity. This Years programs include: Assisting the poor with access to health and wellness services. Annual academic and scholarship support programs help defray school costs for more than 200 under priviledged children each year. Additional support programs aimed at uplifting the ghetto communities in Jamaica include an athlete/scholar program; community workshops and skill building events; and a new focus on building entreprenuership.
Trenchtown Homework Center: In 2018, Ghetto Youths Foundation provided the seed funding for the Homework Center in the heart of Trenchtown, Jamaica where 100% of the population currently lives below the poverty line. The Center will require ongoing funding from Ghetto Youths Foundation to complete the construction, and then to operate and maintain a free community center with academic tutoring, mentorship, test prep, and computer access for children from the community. It is estimated the Homework Center will serve more than 500 young people each year.
