THE MISSION OF THE MARCUM FOUNDATION IS TO SUPPORT NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDING CRITICAL ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN NEED, THROUGH PROGRAMS AND SERVICES DELIVERED AT THE LOCAL LEVEL IN MARCUM COMMUNITIES. THE FOUNDATIONS INITIATIVES ARE AN EXPRESSION OF MARCUMS COMMITMENT TO SUPPORT AND SERVE THE COMMUNITIES IN WHICH WE DO BUSINESS.

The Marcum Foundation is a charitable vehicle enabling all Marcum associates throughout the U.S. to support nonprofit causes in their Marcum communities. The foundation is almost entirely funded by Marcum employees and partners. National programs include the General Fund, the Planned Giving Program, and Philanthropy Fridays. The Marcum Foundation also supports local fundraising efforts by individual Marcum offices as well as charitable events such as the annual Marcum Workplace Challenge in Long Island, New York, which over the years has contributed over $1 million to charities.
Marcum Foundation partnered with BurgerFi, the national restaurant group, to deliver hot, hearty and healthy meals to hospital workers and first responders on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Marcum Foundation was able to feed America's healthcare heroes battling tirelessly during such tumultuous and dangerous times. The program launched May 14, 2020 in New York City, the epicenter of our country's pandemic. The first delivery of BurgerFi meals took place at Mount Sinai Hospital located in the Upper East side of Manhattan and stretched the program across the United States to select VA Hospitals culminating with approximately 20,000 meals distributed to over 20 hospitals over a two-week period.
