THE MIAMI DADE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CREATES OPPORTUNITIES FOR ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION IN OUR COMMUNITY.THE CHAMBER DRIVES ECONOMIC GROWTH BY FOCUSING ON TWO KEY AREAS:ENTREPRENEURIAL DEVELOPMENT AND PUBLIC POLICY.
THE CHAMBER IS RELENTLESS IN ITS EFFORTS TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE SMALL MINORITY AND BLACK BUSINESS COMMUNITIES, THROUGH INITIATIVES SUCH AS ACCESS TO BUSINESS CAPITAL, MARKETING TOOLS AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE. MIAMI-DADE COUNTY WAS THE ONLY SOURCE OF REVENUE IN RESPECT TO THIS INITIATIVE. MIAMI-DADE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INC. (THE "MDCC") IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION INCORPORATED IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA IN 1974. THESE EVENTS INCLUDE: CORPORATE BUSINESS LEADERS LUNCHEON - THE CHAMBER RECOGNIZES MEMBERS FOR BUSINESS SAVVY AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS, PRESENTING AWARDS TO THE CORPORATE BUSINESS OF THE YEAR, SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR, TOP FIVE SMALL BUSINESSES AND BOARD MEMBER OF THE YEAR.
