Miami Homes For All's mission is to end and prevent homelessness in Miami-Dade through community collaboration. Our vision is that everyone have a safe, stable home.
Miami Homes For All currently has two main initiatives: affordable housing and youth homelessness. In 2019, we created an affordable housing plan in partnership with the City of Miami ("Connect Capital Miami") and our Miami-Dade Affordable Housing Preservation Plan, co-authored with Enterprise Community Partners. We began implementing both these plans that same year and continue to move this work forward. Also, with partners from across the community, we drafted our Miami-Dade County Affordable Housing Plan, set to launch in early 2020. Through our collective impact youth homelessness initiative ("HOMY"), we have helped increase the number of shelter beds dedicated to youth, improved the census of youth experiencing homelessness, and engaged leaders from across systems to address this growing issue.
