The number of feral animals retrieved for rehabilitation was 1,761 in 2020, and 1,675 in 2019. Of those animals the number that were successfully rehabilitated and released to the wild were 656 in 2020, and 714 in 2019. Staff and volunteers also conducted public outreach and education programs. These programs served students in classroom settings, community and civic club members, and thousands of local residents and tourists across a five county area of Northwest Florida.
