Organizations Filed Purposes:
Publicly supported charity 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). Purpose is to translate the Bible and other Christian literature into various languages.
Development: Includes analysis (encoding computer representation of meaning) and software development. Polished our semantic representations of Genesis, and did first draft of 1 Kings. Created teaching videos and added numerous minor enhancements to the software. Developed new system for analysis using Zoho and taught three new people to work on our semantic representations.
Translation: In the Philippines, translated Ruth, Jonah, and the first 35 chapters of Genesis into a language that doesn't yet have the Old Testament. We've also started work on translation into another Filipino language, and are close to getting translations in that language. Another translator who is working in a Southeast Asia country with no Christian literature translated the first nine chapters of Exodus and the book of Jonah.
Ministry: Bible studies using our translations in prisons and squatters villages.
