The purpose of OASN is to facilitate the best outcomes for individuals with autism through education, support, advocacy, therapies, events and training.
Social Activities and Education - Educational seminar programs, art classes, yoga classes, autism walk, and an annual Christmas party. In addition to these activities we prepare and administer and annual Day Camp. We educate social skills and development for over 1,000 people in need. Our annual Walk for Autism drew in over 400 people including local and State elected officials supporting Autism Awareness. Support groups were offered for single parents, "coupled" parents, grandparents, adults on the spectrum and a general meeeting for all individuals, their famlies/caregivers and the community.
