VOCAL is on a mission to solve the homeless pet problem through prevention community outreach adoption and collaboration
Our clinic offers low cost services to other nonprofit rescues and the low and middle income public community with pets in need. We perform spay and neuter regularly, as well as various surgeries such as amputations, mass removals, ennucleations, dentals, and heartworm treatment. We also perform diagnostics like bloodwork and xrays, as well as holding very low cost vaccine clinics. Our goal is to collaborate with our rescue community and help keep pets in their homes.
Our Community Outreach programs include our warehouse program and trap-neuter-return program for feral cats. VOCAL provides over one million pounds of food and supplies to over 100 nonprofit shelters and rescues. After covering the expenses at our warehouse, any remaining funds are used to provide low cost and free spay and neuter for feral cats in our community.
Our adoptions and rescue program address those animals most in need of rehoming. While VOCAL strives to keep pets in their homes, we know there are circumstances where pets must be rehomed. We work mostly with our local animal services to intake dogs and cats most in need and find them wonderful homes.
