THE PROGRAM'S MAIN PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND APPROPRIATE ENVIRONMENT FOR UAC DURING THE INTERIM PERIOD BETWEEN THEIR TRANSFER INTO HIS HOUSE CARE AND THEIR RELEASE FROM ORR CUSTODY. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES A FULL ARRAY OF SERVICES TO THE CHILDREN WHILE THEY ARE ON CAMPUS: EDUCATIONAL, MEDICAL, CLINICAL, CASE MANAGEMENT, AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES.
THE LICENSING DEPARTMENT'S ROLE IN FULFILLING THE MISSION/VISION OF HIS HOUSE IS THROUGH RELENTLESS RECRUITMENT, RELEVANT TRAINING, CONTINUOUS SUPPORT, AND RIGOROUS ADVOCACY OF CHRISTIAN FOSTER HOMES. ALTHOUGH MOST OF OUR HOMES ARE TRADITIONAL FOSTER HOMES TAILORED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN THAT DO NOT HAVE SIGNIFICANT BEHAVIORAL, MENTAL HEALTH, OR MEDICAL NEEDS, WE DO HAVE A SMALL NUMBER OF LICENSED MEDICAL FOSTER HOMES. THESE HOMES ARE SERVICED BY HIS HOUSE AND ALSO WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH CHILDREN'S MEDICAL SERVICES TO PROVIDE FOSTER CARE TO CHILDREN WITH MODERATE MEDICAL AND/OR DEVELOPMENTAL NEEDS.
