Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission is to develop and promote Black business enterprises through education, training, loans, investments, and other activities and aggressively promote an atmosphere conducive to their development.
BBIF provided new loans totaling $1.7MM to small and disadvantaged businesses for the fye September 30, 2019. In addition, BBIF utilized its New Market Credit allocationto fund an all minority loan pool of $2,000,000 to assist two businesses with the purchase and renovation of their corporate headquarters. In total, BBIF provide over $12MM in Business and NMTC loans throughout the state of Florida in fiscal year 2018-2019. & NMTC loans throughout the state of Floria.
BBIF assisted over 292 small and disadvantaged businesses through its specialized financial technical assistance roundtable program. BBIF reached over 6,000 business owners through its networking and outreach events. These networking events helped these businesses continue to develop and grow.
