Organizations Filed Purposes: TO SUPPORT THE STRATEGIC PRIORITIES OF ORLANDO HEALTH THROUGH PHILANTHROPY. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH SPECIAL EVENTS AND ANNUAL MAJOR AND PLANNED GIFT FUNDRAISING EFFORTS.

For more than 100 years, Orlando Health has remained committed to its mission to improve the health and quality of life of the individuals and communities it serves. Orlando Health is a $3.8 billion not-for-profit healthcare organization with more than 2,200 beds serving Central Florida and beyond. Consisting of eight wholly-owned or affiliated hospitals and rehabilitation centers, Orlando Health has the areas only Level One Trauma Centers for adults and pediatrics, and is a statutory teaching hospital system that offers both specialty and community hospitals. They are: Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center; Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital; Orlando Health South Lake Hospital; Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital; Orlando Health Health Central Hospital; Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children; Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies; and affiliate, St. Cloud Regional Medical Center. Areas of clinical excellence are heart and vascular, cancer care, neurosciences, surgery, pediatric specialties, neonatology and womens health. The healthcare system also includes the Orlando Health Medical Group, one of the largest physician groups in the region with seven divisions and more than 400 physicians who provide primary and specialty care for adults and children, a renowned cancer center Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center (with free-standing sites in downtown Orlando, the Dr. Phillips community in southwest Orlando, Lake Mary, Ocoee and Clermont); four outpatient surgery centers; 11 wholly-owned, affiliated or partnership urgent care centers; and a majority interest in an entity operating five outpatient imaging centers. More than 3,100 physicians have privileges across the Orlando Health system, which is also one of the areas largest employers with more than 20,000 employees who support our philosophy of providing high-quality care and service that revolves around patients needs. Orlando Health proves this everyday with more than 167,000 inpatient admissions, more than 500,000 outpatient visits and more than 20,000 international patients each year. Created in 1982 to help build Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, the Foundation has since been instrumental in raising funds for many of our facilities including the construction of the Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center, Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital For Women & Babies, the Cynthia C. & William E. Perry Pavilion, The Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families, a part of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, the Haley Center for Childrens Cancer and Blood Disorders at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, the Marjorie and Leonard Williams Center for Proton Therapy at the Cancer Center, and ORMCs new patient tower and expansion of the Level One Trauma Center and Emergency Department. Philanthropic funding also provides vital support for programs and services and the acquisition of life-saving equipment. In fiscal year 2019, the Orlando Health network of hospitals provided $76,834,823 in charity care. Additionally, $74,304,077 was provided in community benefit programs and services and $142,924,301 in Medicaid and other means-tested programs shortfalls.
