THE ORLANDO SHAKESPEARE THEATER'S 31ST SEASON INCLUDED A SEVEN-PLAY SIGNATURE SERIES WITH A CAST OF PROFESSIONAL ACTORS FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY AND PLAYFEST WHICH IS FOCUSED ON BRINGING NEW PLAYS TO LIFE. OUR SEASON WAS CUT SHORT BY ONE PLAY POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 DURING THE 2019-2020 SEASON, THE THEATER CONDUCTED 168 SIGNATURE SERIES AND PLAYFEST PERFORMANCES. EVITA SOLD 8,870 TICKETS, MACBETH SOLD 5,005 TICKETS, CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLY SOLD 5,840 TICKETS, BECOMING DR RUTH, SOLD 3,155 TICKETS, THREE MUSKETEERS SOLD 5,575 TICKETS, HENRY IV PART 1 SOLD 4,062 TICKETS, PLAYFEST SOLD 672 TICKETS ACROSS SIX NEW PLAY READINGS. 672 TICKETS ACROSS SIX NEW PLAY READINGS.

ORLANDO SHAKESPEARE THEATER'S CHILDREN'S SERIES FOCUSES ON PRODUCTIONS FOR CHILDREN TO ENGAGE THEM IN THE ARTS. THE THREE-PLAY SERIES WAS CUT TO TWO PLAYS DUE TO COVID 19. 106 PERFORMANCES WERE PRESENTED. SNOW WHITE SOLD 6,283 TICKETS, MISS NELSON IS MISSING SOLD 10,556 TICKETS, AND JACK AND THE BEANSTALK SOLD 12,834 TICKETS.

ORLANDO SHAKESPEARE THEATER'S EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS INCLUDE STUDENT MATINEES, IN SCHOOL ARTS INTEGRATION PROGRAMS FOR PRE-K THROUGH 12TH GRADE, PUBLIC WEEKEND CLASSES, SUMMER CAMPS, AND ACTING AND PRODUCTION INTERNSHIPS. AND AN APPRENTICE TRAINING PROGRAM. IN 2019-2020, 16 SUMMER CAMPS WERE OFFERED FOR PRE-K THROUGH 12TH GRADE, INCLUDING THE 29TH ANNUAL THE YOUNG COMPANY (A HIGH SCHOOL SHAKESPEARE PERFORMANCE TROUPE) AND THE 15TH ANNUAL SHAKESPEARE WITH HEART (A PARTNERSHIP WITH UNITED CEREBRAL PALSY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA) AND SPONSORED BY THE UCF EXCEPTIONAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT OF CENTRAL FLORIDA) AND SPONSORED BY THE UCF EXCEPTIONAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT.)
