Feral and community cats are trapped for sterilization surgery to control the free roaming cat population. The field director coordinates the trapping, transporting of cats to the vets, working with colony caretakers, ordering the cat food, dealing with calls regarding cats in neighborhoods and working closely with the feeding team leader. Assist in monitoring the overall health and well being of the feral and community cats.

Colonies are monitored for new cats, illness, and injury. The feeding team leader monitors the cats. The field director checks traps set by the feeding team leader two hours after they are set and if cats are caught, she immediately takes them to the veterinarian clinic.

Cats are fed and watered 365 days a year. The feeding team leader delivers food to the 52 stations and provides fresh water between 3-5 am, and when done he circles back and picks up any remaining food, cleans the feeding bins, monitors the cats and replenishes the water. He sets traps in areas designated by the field director.
