Organizations Filed Purposes:
THE GOAL OF CHRYSALIS HEALTH CARE IS TO ASSIST INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH BASIC LIFE/JOB SKILLS AND HEALTHCARE NEEDS DURING LIFE TRANSITIONS AND TIMES OF NEED. CHRYSALIS ALSO PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO OTHER LOCAL AND NATIONAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.
Continued to develop and execute programs focused on the underserved in Dearborn County and surrounding Indiana communities. Offered programs to support individuals during critical life transitions (those seeking work upon release from incarceration or rehab programs, young adults and the medically compromised needing life/job skill development, and underpriveleged families, seniors, veterans, medically compromised and homeless individuals whose meal sources, healthcare, housing and general financial resources were diminished during the COVID-19 shutdown). Supported hurricane and flood relief efforts in South Carolina with donation of clothing, food, personal care, medical and pet care items to affected families.Supported more than 15 churches & 30+ community service organization in S.E. Indiana and the Cincinnati, OH region with donations of cash and goods for senior support programs, Easter baskets, food drives and other related fund raisers. Primary officer, Diane Seiwert, RN, MSN, APRN, was nominated for the Heart of Gold Award, a recognition program sponsored by the Dearborn Community Foundation to acknowledge those individuals in the community who touch the hearts of others through their volunteerism and other acts of kindness.
