Promote the appreciation of Jazz music Organize, present and promote the art of Jazz amoung all groups. Award scholarships for music study especially Jazz amoung graduates. Award instruments and other fincancial help to shools and students in the Jazz area.
THE CCJS PROVIDES MONTHLY CONCERTS AND JAM SESSIONS FOR SEVEN MONTHS EACH YEAR EXPOSING THEIR MEMBERS AND OUTSIDE AUDIANCES TO HIGH QUALITY WELL KNOWN LIVE JAZZ ORSHASTRAS,GROUPS AND INDIVIDUAL MUSICIANS EDUCATING BOTH OLD AND YOUNG AUDIANCES IN THE JAZZ ART FORM. THEY TAKE LIVE JAZZ PRESENTATIONS TO VARIOUS HIGHSCHOOLS IN THE COUNTY AND PRESENT ANNUAL SHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS THAT AUDITION FOR THEM. THEY PROVIDE MUSIC BELOW COST TO COMMUNITY GROUPS AND ELDERLY AUDIENCES IN VARIOUS VENUES.
