Organizations Filed Purposes: The National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution was established to perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American independence. The society achieves this objective through programs which encourange historical research and publication, preservation of historical relics and documents, education and promotion

Promote historic preservation, education and patriotism

Each year NSDAR gives out five college and three high school scholarships. NSDAR sponsors veterans families each Christmas and provides assistance throughout the year. NSDAR provides flags for the parks in Port St Lucie Florida and donates historical books to the Port St Lucie Library. NSDAR makes blankets for gold star children to be given out at camp and provides blankets for the VA hospital. Additionally NSDAR provides hygiene supplies and blankets for homeless veterans.
