Catalyze movements of peace and reconciliation in impoverished communities
GCN provides relief and assistance to impoverished communities, primarily in Southeast Asia. In 2019, GCN provided informal education to 97,000 children at risk in refugee camps in Myanmar and Bangladesh; provided 30,000 farmers with Agricultural Training in eastern Myanmar; provided vocational training to 2,237 people in Burma and Thailand; provided shelter for 320 households in Rakhine State Burma; and provided 14 tube wells for 14 villages across Burma. Our 7 relief also teams provided for 160,500 beneficiaries in Rakhine State Burma.
