Organizations Filed Purposes: The mission of Minor League Baseball Charities is to give back and to enhance communities that have supported our Member Clubs for over 100 years. When hardship strikes one of our member cities and surrounding communities we will be there to provide a positive example that will impact the communities we live and work in. Minor League Baseball Charities will set an example by working with established charities for the greater good and by identifying worthy causes for support through the central office along with the aid of our Member Clubs.

Minor League Baseball Charities (Charities) is a Type I supporting organization of The National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues, Inc., a Florida nonprofit corporation (the "Association") described in Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code (the "Code").Charities was organized to support the Association's charitable activities in support of communities in which the Association's activities are located and continues to operate in this capacity. Examples of support may include grants for educational programs, funding of inner-city sports programs, disaster relief where communities have been negatively affected by natural disasters and grants to charitable organizations within communities in which members of the Association are located.

Grants were made to assist various charitable organizations throughout the country with disaster relief, and charitable organizations promoting the development of inner city youth.

Expenses incurred for fall mission projects and events, including the Silver Slugger Math & Education Reading Pilot Program and BWM Project.
