FLORIDA AUTOMOBILE DEALERS ASSOCIATION (FADA) HAS THE FOLLOWING MISSION:1) FACILITATE THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AMONG ITS MEMBERS; PROVIDE INFORMATION, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, EDUCATION AND PRODUCTS AND SERVICES TO ALL MEMBER DEALERSHIPS.2) ENCOURAGE SOUND BUSINESS POLICIES AND PROMOTE ETHICAL STANDARDS.3) WORK WITH THE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE TO PROMOTE LEGISLATION THAT WILL ENHANCE THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY IN FLORIDA.4) REPRESENT NEW CAR, FRANCHISED AUTO DEALERS THROUGH LIAISON WITH ALL LINE MAKE MANUFACTURERS5) PROMOTE A COMPETITIVE MARKETPLACE FOR FLORIDA CONSUMERS.6) WORK CLOSELY WITH THE FLORIDA AGENCIES THAT REGULATE THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY TO ENSURE THE FAIR TREATMENT OF MEMBERS WHILE MAINTAINING THE INTERESTS OF CONSUMERS.7) WORK CLOSELY WITH THE MEDIA AND CONSUMER GROUPS TO EDUCATE AND ENLIGHTEN THE PUBLIC ON ALL AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY ISSUES.8) WORK WITH OTHER BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COALITIONS TO PROMOTE AND ENHANCE FLORIDA'S BUSINESS CLIMATE.
FADA PROMOTES THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA; PROTECTS AND SUPPORTS THE INTERESTS OF FLORIDA'S FRANCHISED NEW CAR DEALERS; REPRESENTS INTERESTS OF FADA MEMBERS BEFORE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE
AUTOMOTIVE YOUTH EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS (AYES): AUTO DEALERS AND MANUFACTURERS WORK HAND-IN-HAND WITH LOCAL SECONDARY AND POSTSECONDARY SCHOOLS TO CREATE A SEAMLESS EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE THAT PRODUCES SOME OF THE MOST TALENTED AND SOUGHT AFTER EMPLOYEES IN TODAY'S AUTOMOTIVE MARKET. STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN JOB SHADOWING AND PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIPS WHILE COMPLETING THEIR HIGH SCHOOL DEGREES. AYES SUMMER WORKSHOP: DESIGNED TO PROVIDE AUTOMOTIVE INSTRUCTORS WITH ADVANCED TRAINING IN SEVEN SEPARATE AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICAL AREAS BY INDUSTRY TRAINERS, AND SATISFY NATEF AND AYES CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS.
FADA UNIVERSITY BRINGS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO THE DEALERSHIPS IN FLORIDA THROUGH WEB-BASED LEARNING COURSES, WEBINARS, ON-LINE POSTINGS, AND SEMINARS (I.E. DEALER DRIVE-INS, TOWN HALLS, AND TOPIC SPECIFIC SEMINARS)
