SEA Rescue Foundation provides emergency food supplies, medical care and shelter to refugees and displaced persons and other needy and oppressed people and groups in Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia and elsewhere.
During 2020 our Emergency Assistance Project in Cambodia provided approximately 17,900 kilograms of Neang Minh 100% broken grain Cambodian rice per month to our assisted group of refugees and displaced persons. On average throughout the year, we were able to provide nearly 600 kilograms of rice per day to feed approximately 800 women and 400 children on a daily basis. On an annual basis throughout 2020 we provided nearly 438,000 meals to feed our needy assisted population in Cambodia.
During 2020 S.E.A. Rescue Foundation continued as before with its Northeast Asia based women's and children's emergency relief project for the neediest refugees and displaced persons from China and Korea. During 2020 we again made a number of lengthy stays in the northeastern border area of China and Korea to feed Chinese and Korean orphans and schoolchildren and needy orphans in northern and northwestern China and Korea. Throughout 2020 we were again able to provide an average of 5000 HEBs (high-energy biscuits) per day to a rotating list of orphanages and schools in two locations in China and Korea. We were providing approximately 150,000 HEBs per month during 2020. At an average cost of just US $ .10 per each 400 calorie, vitamin enriched biscuit, we provided over one million nutritious children's meals during 2020. Our proposal to produce High Energy Biscuits (HEB) for orphans in mini factories in China and Korea was necessarily put on hold because of the Covid-19 pandemic. This project hopefully will eventually employ disabled workers to produce the High Energy Biscuits (HEB) for orphans in the immediate vicinity of each HEB mini factory
