Help Us Help U, Inc.'s mission is to provide high quality, culturally competent, and evidence-based health care, focused on HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C prevention, awareness, testing and counseling in the Tampa Bay area.
In 2019, we had 190 youth and young adults (13-24 years old) participate in our program.We tested/counseled 107 youth for HIV and 100 youth for Hepatitis C. We conducted our SIS program at 10 different locations and conducted testing at 11 locations. We participated in 14 outreach events and community health fairs which reached approximated 600 individuals.We sent out social media messages (instagram, twitter and facebook) oncommunity events and various health/prevention topics (HIV, alcohol, opioids, substance abuse prevention, stigma, mental health, condom usage, smoking cessation).The yearly social media reach is estimated to be approximately 41,800 (according to social media analytics).
