MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SERVICES: THE ORGANIZATION'S STAFF AND AFFILIATE CONSULTANTS PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE IN KEY AREAS OF NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT INCLUDING FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, REPORTING AND BOOKKEEPING SERVICES, MARKETING AND SOCIALMEDIA, FUNDRAISING AND DEVELOPMENT, HUMAN RESOURCES, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONAL RESOURCES. THE ORGANIZATION HELPS CREATE SYSTEMS & SOLUTIONS TO ENHANCE NONPROFITS' EFFICIENCY, EFFECTIVENESS AND COMMUNITY IMPACT. THE ORGANIZATION'S FINANCE DEPARTMENT AND AFFILIATES HAVE EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN NONPROFIT AND FOR-PROFIT ACCOUNTING, ASSISTING AGENCIES WITH FINANCE OBJECTIVES SUCH AS IMPROVING ACCOUNTING STRUCTURE, SYSTEMS AND PROCEDURES; CREATING BOARD PACKAGES THAT EVERYONE CAN UNDERSTAND; AND TRAINING STAFF IN ONE-ON-ONE OR GROUP SETTINGS. NONPROFITS FIRST PROVIDES GROW GRANTS "GRANTS TO REACH ORGANIZATIONAL WELLNESS" FOR CAPACITY BUILDING WHICH IS ESSENTIAL TO THE GROWTH OF THE NONPROFIT SECTOR IN CONTINUING TO SERVE AND STRENGTHEN OUR COMMUNITY. 38 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS RECEIVED OVER $380,000 IN CAPACITY BUILDING SERVICES FROM THE NONPROFITS FIRST GROW PROGRAM DURING 2020. CAPACITY BUILDING SERVICES INCLUDED: STRATEGIC PLANNING CONSULTING, STAFF TRAINING, NONPROFIT JOB POSTINGS, EDUCATION AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, MARKETING PLANS, AND ORGANIZATION REVITALIZATION.
Accreditation: Empowering nonprofits to operate at the highest standard of business, accreditation was developed to strengthen the operational capacity of nonprofit organizations. 83 nonprofit organizations participated in the accreditation program in 2020. Over $100,000,000 of funding was received by these accredited organizations from funders requiring accreditation. The economic impact of these organizations reaches every corner of our community.
Membership Dues: The organization launched its first ever membership program for nonprofit organizations and affiliate members in 2014 and has shown steady growth for the past five years. Membership serves 136 nonprofit organizations and 64 affiliate consultants. Member services include: free and discounted training and workshops for everyone in the organization, special rates on management and consulting services, use of a state of the art conference room for meetings, networking events, 360 degree virtual tour of their agency to expand their digital foot print, member price for the 501c pro toolkit, grant and funding research assistance, volunteer/community service board postings, exclusive media promotions, discounted job board postings and ApplicantPro tracking system through 501cjobs.org.
