Urban Youth Impact exists to love, equip, and empower inner-city youth to fulfill their God-given purpose.
We exist to love, equip, and empower inner-city youth to fulfill their God-given purpose; primarily through K-12 after-school literacy intervention, social and emotional learning, college and career readiness, spiritual enrichment and exploration of science, math, and arts.
We provide after-school programs and local community outreaches, serving over 300 K-12 and college-aged students weekly on-site and through socially-distant learning tools and practices. "The Leadership Academy"(TLA) serves 120+ students K-8 with literacy and social/emotional engagement. Results: 95% of our students improved their reading scores; 73% were reading on their grade level."Reframe" serves 50+ students grades 9th-college freshmen with college and career readiness, life and job skills, post-secondary planning, leadership, and summer internships. Results: 100% graduation rate, who either obtain jobs or college acceptance. "SMART"(Science Meets Art) serves 140+ students with experiential learning electives in music, cooking, science, technology, engineering, arts, math and more. Results: Awarded the 2018 national Innovative Education Award by Chick-fil-A.
