THE ORGANIZATION IS AN 18-24 RESIDENTIAL LIFE TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM PROVIDING LIFE SKILLS, PARENTING, JOB TRAINING, CASE MANAGEMENT, LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS, FAMILY REUNIFICATION SERVICES AND DRUG AND ALCOHOL EDUCATION AND TESTING TO MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN WHO ARE ADDICTED, HOMELESS, HUMAN TRAFFICKED, COMING OUT OF PRISON, AND/OR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. THE ORGANIZATION CURRENTLY SERVES 65 ADULT RESIDENTS PLUS 25 CHILDREN YEAR ROUND AT THREE SEPARATE RESIDENTIAL FACILITITES. THE RETAIL THRIFT STORES, MOVING AND STORAGE SERVICES, DUMPING AND HAULING, AND LAWN CARE SERVICES ALL FUND THE MISSION. 77% OF THE GRADUATES ARE CURRENTLY EMPLOYED, CLEAN AND SOBER AND ARE PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.The residential life transformation program/drug program has experienced an 85% success rate (drug free) among graduates. A missions program was added to the nonprofit. Crossing the Jordan took over full operations of an Orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya that housed 85 children that reside there full time. Crossing the Jordan's goal is to create industries for the childrens home to fully fund the home. In 2019, Crossing the Jordan funded the monthly operations and also began the process of starting farms to feed the children and create income.
