To increase access to affordable, quality primary and preventative healthcare
CFHC has 14 clinics serving a three county population in Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Counties. We provide primary and preventative services, dental services, and lab, x-ray, and pharmacy services. We are staffed with medical doctors, ARNP's, nurses, dentists, dental hygienists, pharmacists, and clinical support staff for all areas. We had approximately 42,000 patients in 2019 and expect to see those numbers increase this year.
CFHC provides full dental services in eight of our fourteen clinics. Those services are provided in all three counties with staff consisting of dentists, hygienists,dental assistants, and clinical support staff. Services include preventative and restoration services, dental exams, screenings for children, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, fillings, simple extractions, and dentures. Services were provided to approximately 23,000 patients.
CFHC has full pharmacy services in five of our clinics: two sites having retail pharmacy and one location with a dispensary. Our pharmacists filled approximately 165,000 prescriptions for approximately 20,000 patients.
