Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Community Action Partnership Association of Idaho fights the causes and conditions of poverty through building the capacity and effectiveness of its members.
To fight the causes and conditions of poverty in the state of Idaho.
Grants are issued to various agencies to coordinate and maximize the use of community action agency resources. Community Services Block Grants (CSBG) are made to seven-member agencies to coordinate and deliver programs and services while mobilizing additional resources to combat the central causes of poverty.
Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) grants are made to the six community action partnership organizations to distribute a one-time energy assistance payment to eligible households.
Weatherization (Bonneville Power Administration BPA, Department of Energy DOE, LIHEAP Weatherization LPW) grants are made to six-member agencies to install the necessary measures in eligible participant households to make their homes more energy efficient.
