Organizations Filed Purposes: THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED AND SHALL BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY TO PROTECT AND RESTORE SAGEBRUSH HABITAT IN THE AMERICAN WEST TO BENEFIT NATIVE WILDLIFE THROUGH VOLUNTARY CONSERVATION.

IN 2020 THE SAGEBRUSH HABITAT CONSERVATION FUND (THE FUND) RETIRED 89,680 ACRES FROM GRAZING. THE LARGEST RETIREMENT WAS FOUR ALLOTMENTS WITH 88,000 ACRES IN THE BOULDER MOUNTAINS NEAR KETCHUM, IDAHO IN THE BOULDER-WHITE CLOUDS GRAZING MANAGEMENT AREA. OVER THE PAST DECADE THE FUND HAS RETIRED OVER ONE MILLION ACRES OF PUBLIC LAND GRAZING ALLOTMENTS.THE FUND CONTINUES TO OWN AND MANAGE THE 10,000 ACRE VYA RANCH IN NORTHERN WASHOE COUNTY, NEVADA, INCLUDING 20,000 ACRES OF BLM-MANAGED GRAZING ALLOTMENTS. ONLY LIMITED GRAZING FROM ADJACENT PUBLIC AND PRIVATE LANDS HAS OCCURED ON THE ALLOTMENTS SINCE 2011. THE FUND CONTINUES TO SEEK PERMANENT RETIREMENT FROM LIVESTOCK GRAZING FOR THE ALLOTMENTS.
