THE INSTITUTE SUPPORTS INDIVIDUAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION THROUGH LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, RESOURCES AND GUIDANCE AROUND THE DEMING PHILOSOPHY. THESE LEARNING EVENTS INCLUDED ONE-DAY WORKSHOPS AND THE 2.5-DAY DEMING MANAGEMENT METHOD SEMINAR FOR BUSINESS OWNERS, LEADERS AND MANAGERS, PRESENTED IN COLLABORATION WITH AILERON, A NONPROFIT IN THE DAYTON, OHIO AREA. IN MARCH, WE OFFERED THE NEW ECONOMICS VIRTUAL STUDY SESSION SERIES, AND IN APRIL, THE INSTITUTE PARTNERED WITH SOUTHERN UTAH UNIVERSITY TO PRESENT THE ANNUAL BRYCE CANYON SOCIETY FORUM. THE DEMING INSTITUTE AWARDED NAMED SCHOLARSHIPS TO FIVE BUSINESS AND NONPROFIT PROFESSIONALS TO ATTEND OUR 2.5-DAY SEMINARS IN 2019. THE INSTITUTE ALSO OFFERED FREE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES THROUGH 17 NEW DEMING PODCASTS AND 45 DEMING INSTITUTE BLOG POSTS. OUR REACH EXTENDED TO MORE THAN HALF A MILLION PEOPLE WHO VIEWED OR DOWNLOADED OUR BLOGS, PODCASTS, YOUTUBE AND VIMEO VIDEOS, OR CONNECTED WITH US ON SOCIAL MEDIA. SUPPORTING THE INSTITUTE'S EFFORTS WERE 87 VOLUNTEERS FROM ACROSS THE US AND INTERNATIONALLY. IN 2019, THE DEMING INSTITUTE COMPLETED THE SECOND YEAR OF THE DEMING ONWARD CAMPAIGN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF DEMING ONLINE, RAISING A TOTAL OF $1,140,033, OR 76% OF THE $1.5 MILLION GOAL. DEMING ONLINE IS AN INNOVATIVE ONLINE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT WITH DYNAMIC EDUCATIONAL CONTENT FOR INDIVIDUALS AND BUSINESSES INTERESTED IN LEARNING THE DEMING PHILOSOPHY AND APPLYING IT IN THEIR ORGANIZATIONS. THE CLOUD-BASED, MOBILE-READY LEARNING PLATFORM BRINGS TOGETHER AN ONLINE LEARNING PORTAL AND SOCIAL LEARNING ECOSYSTEM WITH COMPREHENSIVE EDUCATIONAL CONTENT ABOUT THE DEMING THEORIES AND TEACHINGS, AVAILABLE 24/7, ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
