Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance - The HCV program is federally funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. This program provides rental assistance for low income individuals, disabled individuals, and families. The rent assistance is based on the family's income; the rent payments are sent directly to the landlords as per the agreement between the Housing Authority and the landlords. Families are required to report any fluctuations in income; this allows the Housing Authority to adjust rents accordingly. Families with zero income receive assistance for their utility payments. For the fiscal year 2012, the HCV program assisted an average of 867 families and individuals.

Low Rent Public Housing Program - The Low Rent Public Housing Program is subsidized by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. This program provides housing to low income families and disabled individuals. The housing units are owned and maintained by the program funds. Tenant rent is based on the family's income and rents are adjusted according to income fluctuations. For the fiscal year 2012, the Low Rent Public Housing Program assisted an average of 41 families.

Rural Development Program - The Rural Development Program is subsidized by the USDA Rural Development Department of Housing and Urban Development.
