Organizations Filed Purposes:
The organization's mission is to equip evangelical and Reformed Christians for church leadership, civic participation, and faithful discipleship in other vocations as responsible citizens, by encouraging scholarly research into the time-tested resources of early Protestant theology, philosophy, ethics, civics, and jurisprudence, and by putting these resources at the disposal of the contemporary church.
In the 2019-20 fiscal year, the Davenant Institute continued its work of Protestant renewal by publishing two books and a quarterly magazine, and organizing several regional events and study programs (although some were curtailed due to the Covid-19 pandemic). In addition, we considerably expanded our online course offerings and recruited additional teaching fellows to engage in teaching and speaking in various locations around the country.
