Organizations Filed Purposes:
To offer an experience that will enrich the lives of children and women veterans in northern Idaho. The program will incorporate intuitive horsemanship, ranch activities, nature and traditional crafts into each session. Participants will gain and build skills in Leadership, Problem-solving, Confidence, Integrity and Responsibility and will leave with a renewed sense of self and well-being.
In 2019 we offered the following: Two sessions of GIRLS AND HORSES (8 campers in each session) Two sessions of RANCH WRANGLERS (8 campers in each session) The very first LIFESKILLS SISTERHOOD RETREAT - A one-night retreat for 9 pre-teen girls - teaching the girls to "shine from within" 3-day PEACEFUL WARRIOR RANCH RETREAT for women veterans Of these events, scholarships fully funded: 15 day camp scholarships 5 of the 9 Sisterhood attendees 7 women veterans
