The mission of the Twin Falls Community Foundation is to contribute to the quality of life throughout the Twin Falls area by fostering and enhancing charitable giving and philanthropy. Basically, the Community Foundation provides a vehicle by which citizens can raise money for specific projects that will be owned by the City of Twin Falls or another local government entity.

In 2019, a local resident donated $218,784 in US Bonds to be used to build a new fire station in Jackpot, Nevada. The Jackpot Fire Department's area of service includes parts of Twin Falls County. The fire station was scheduled to be built in 2020. Due to CoVid-19 and a robust construction economy, the fire station construction has been delayed. In 2020, it was determined that additional funds would be needed to complete the project so a parcel of farmland worth $260,000 was donated. The farmland was sold in 2021 for $260,000. The fire station will be built as soon as plans can be approved and a general contractor secured.
An annual golf tournament has been held for the Twin Falls Municipal Golf Course. Proceeds from the tournament are used to make improvements to the Golf Course.
An ongoing project for the Twin Falls Community Foundation is the Trail Enhancement project. In 2020, the Twin Falls Community Foundation provided funding for a memorial bench for a former member.
