Home-based intensive behavioral treatment is for children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or have varying degrees of chronic behavior disorders that, if left untreated, would worsen and require more intensive treatment, including psychiatric hospitalization or out-of-home residential placement. The treatment plan is family-oriented, as it includes all family members in the treatment process. (See also Schedule O)
